Systems Integration - PLC Based Control
PLC systems
are by far the most commonly specified pieces of hardware for
process control and automation systems. From the simplest micro
PLC to complex multiprocessor dual redundant configurations,
PLC system hardware is now available to control and monitor processes
that, until a few years ago, a PLC would not have been considered
suitable for.
As PLC system hardware advances, so do the supporting communication
and network architectures. Networked I/O is now available that
can broadcast data to multiple processors rather than being polled
in the traditional manner. Failsafe networked IO is available
that is certified for use in safety systems up to IEC 61508 SIL
3, a principle that was impossible until recently.
As the list of system components and possibilities expand,
it becomes ever more difficult to select the optimum hardware
for the application. As selection of fundamental system hardware
can mean the difference between success and failure of a project,
the input of a competent system integrator at the specification
stage is invaluable.
InControl Systems personnel have worked in PLC
systems integration for many years and believe we have unparalleled
experience in all aspects of PLC based control.
Our familiarity with PLC system hardware from all major manufacturers
including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, GEFanuc, Modicon,
Telemeqanique and many more ensures that we will always select
the optimum product for your application.
