InControl Systems tackles the National Three Peaks Challenge

12/08/2019

InControl’s engineers raised over £500 in aid of Treetops Hospice Care by taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours.

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft).

The team at InControl managed to raise an impressive £520 for a great cause in exactly 23 hours and 38 minutes! Ben Nevis took around 5 hours to climb and descend, whereas Snowdon and Scafell Pike took 3. It was a real challenge for everyone!

On behalf of InControl and InVMA, we would like to extend our appreciation for everyone who has donated or wished the team good luck! Although they are probably glad the walk is now done, you can still donate to Treetops Hospice Care by clicking here.
