InControl Welcomes Two New Application Engineers!

01/08/2021

InControl welcome Liam and Loukas to our growing team of engineers!

Growing the company team is a sign of our continuing success, and we are excited to appoint these new talents to the business.

Liam Draycott (left) started on the 5th of July, and is already increasing his skillsets.

Liam is an experienced engineer with a passion for outdoors and regularly finds himself climbing, running, or swimming in the wild. With years of experience as an Automation Support Engineer in multiple industries, we are excited to see what he can bring to the company, and more importantly what he can provide to our customers.

Liam has an MSE in Mechatronics and Robotic Systems from the University of Leeds, with a bachelor’s degree of the same from the University of Liverpool.

Previously, Liam worked for a manufacturing company to redesign their old PLC code, along with integrating a robotic arm to manipulate and weld components together into one of their production lines.

“I am happy to start this new journey and I’m keen to take on projects, designing PLC and HMI software and hopefully improve my skills along the way and to do some electrical and SCADA design work.”

Loukas Kardoso (right) joined us shortly after on the 12th of July, with his wealth of experience.

Loukas has also been introduced to the team as an applications engineer, assisting with electrical design and software development projects. With previous experience in panel building and general wiring of bespoke machinery, along with electrical design using Eplan, Loukas has a lot to offer to the team.

“I am currently studying as an Electronics Engineer at the Open University alongside my full-time job at InControl Systems and I’m looking forward to getting involved with the PLC & HMI programming and being a useful member of the team”

Whenever Loukas isn’t doing his Open University studying or working, Loukas enjoys sailing and enjoying the outdoors.

Please join us in welcoming Liam and Loukas to the team!
