We’re delighted to introduce Pranay Kadali, the newest member of the inControl engineering team! Pranay originally hails from India, where he completed his degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering before moving to the UK to study for a Master’s in Automation Control and Robotics at Sheffield Hallam.
After finishing his studies, Pranay joined inControl straight away – his first role in industry. “I was eager to apply my technical knowledge and gain hands-on experience with real-world projects. inControl felt like the perfect place to start my career.”
When asked what motivates him, Pranay doesn’t hesitate: “I’m driven by curiosity and the challenge of solving real-world problems through technology. I enjoy learning new systems, collaborating with others, and seeing ideas come to life in practical applications.”
It was inControl’s reputation for delivering cutting-edge automation and process control for over 25 years that drew him in. Since joining, he says the experience has lived up to expectations: “I’ve felt supported and encouraged to grow – it’s been a great environment to kickstart my career.”
During his Master’s at Sheffield Hallam University, he built a solid foundation in control systems, PLC programming and HMI design within the Siemens TIA Portal. But looking ahead, Pranay is ambitious about his development: “I want to deepen my technical skills, contribute to impactful projects, and grow into a more senior engineering role over time. I hope to bring fresh energy and a global perspective to the team.”
And here’s a fun fact you might not guess: Pranay recently leapt from 15,000 feet at Hibaldstow in Lincolnshire – one of the highest skydive altitudes in Europe. “It was an unforgettable experience and a big bucket-list moment for me. I think it reflects my passion for pushing boundaries and embracing new challenges.”
Welcome aboard, Pranay – we can’t wait to see what heights you’ll reach next (skydives optional).
