The team at InControl is growing out the moustaches to raise awareness for men’s mental health.
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.
The majority of the InControl (male) team is banding together and competing for who can grow the best moustache, with the prospect of a mini competition at the end of the month, where we will pick out the top few and let you decide who’s grown the best ‘tash.
We aren’t asking for donations, but our main goal is to get the conversation going regarding raising awareness and communication around men’s mental health.
Whether the moustache is the conversation starter, or the prompt to talk more about these matters, we are hoping to take this month to increase awareness for all issues around men’s health and to keep it up throughout the coming months.
