With a strong engineering foundation and a career spent at the forefront of industrial automation technology, Greg brings deep expertise in converting cutting-edge technologies into practical, value-driven solutions for industrial operations. His appointment as our Technical Sales Manager reinforces inControl’s commitment to delivering secure, advanced process automation and digital transformation projects across our key sectors.

Deep Technical Foundations and Proven Industry Experience

Greg holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nottingham Trent University. Over his career, he has worked alongside some of the biggest names in industrial technology and innovation:

Siemens: Served as a CPG Account Manager, delivering digitalisation portfolios and strategic Industry 4.0 projects focused on productivity improvements, process control, and condition-based monitoring.

General Electric (GE): Promoted IoT data-driven energy and operations solutions, as well as specialised Agritech technologies using tailored lighting wavelength recipes for vertical farming and smart greenhouses.

Bluvision (Start-up): Drove adoption of Bluetooth beacon technology for real-time asset/personnel location tracking and condition monitoring of rotating machinery.

Parmley Graham (Siemens-Sponsored): Led national channel development in OT cyber security, industrial networking, predictive maintenance, real-time location systems (RTLS), and RFID integration.

Beyond the Engineering

Outside of work, Greg enjoys pushing himself and taking on new challenges. While he admits that mastering a second language remains an ongoing personal goal, his efforts haven’t been without entertainment—he once successfully passed a French oral exam primarily because his French delivery spoken in a warm Brummie accent gave the examiner such a good laugh!
