inControl Systems Announces Attendance at Make UK Manufacturing Dinner & Expo 2026
[Sedgefield, UK] — Here at inControl, we are thrilled to announce they will be exhibiting at the upcoming Make UK Manufacturing Dinner & Expo 2026.
Taking place across the 24th and 25th of June at the stunning Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield, County Durham, the event stands as a premier gathering for the region’s vibrant manufacturing community.
Organised by Make UK and spearheaded locally by figures like Membership Manager Annette Hobson, the two-day event brings together industry titans, innovators, and leaders. They will network, share cross-sector knowledge, and discuss the future of British manufacturing.
Representing inControl Systems at both the exhibition and the evening dinner will be Sales & Marketing Director Ian Clarke and Technical Director Jan Hemper.
Why we are exhibiting
The expo floor serves as a major hub for businesses looking to navigate modern industrial hurdles—such as digital transformation, Industry 4.0, and mitigating plant vulnerabilities. Jan Hemper, Technical Director at inControl, shared his thoughts on why this year’s event is a priority for the team:
“UK manufacturing is climbing the global rankings, but with that growth comes severe pressure to stay resilient amid volatile markets and rapid technological shifts. At inControl, we believe resilience starts from within your own plant floor. We’re exhibiting at the Make UK Expo to chat face-to-face with plant managers and operations directors about practical ways to protect their businesses—whether that’s through seamless SCADA upgrades or running robust Obsolescence, Safety, Software & Reliability (OSSR) audits. It’s about putting the control back into the hands of the manufacturer.”
Who else is coming?
The event is set to be a bustling hub of industry activity. Alongside the team from Make UK, attendees can look forward to connecting with a diverse array of manufacturing specialists and engineering leaders. Additionally, B2B industrial marketing experts Horizon Works have already been announced as the official Reception Drinks Sponsor for the evening dinner. They will be exhibiting alongside inControl on the expo floor. As a result, this makes it a fantastic environment to forge long-term strategic partnerships.
Come and say hi!
Whether you want to discuss a complex PLC/DCS programming project, chat about panel building, or simply grab a drink and discuss the future of Industry 4.0, Ian and Jan would love to see you there.
