inControl confirmed as OT Integration Partner for The Quorum Principle Live at MTC Coventry – Dec’ 8th
inControl Systems has just opened its own in-house control room at our Chesterfield facility — a live, fully operational environment built to the exact same standards we design for customers.

Delivered in partnership with MTC Events, The Quorum Principle Live brings together more than 250 senior manufacturing leaders, alongside trade associations, government representatives and ecosystem partners from across Strategy, IT, OT, Operational Excellence and Industry 4.0. The day is built around keynotes, 16 challenge topic roundtables, an exhibition of ecosystem partners and structured networking.
What is The Quorum Principle?
The Quorum Principle (TQP) is a new approach to industrial transformation, built around four stages: Mandate, Mindset, Method and Mission. Most transformation projects go wrong because one department starts first and in isolation to downstream or interdepartmental consequences. The Quorum Principle helps manufacturers agree that sequence once, with everyone it affects, and then keeps people on track through delivery. The TQP Mission Charter approaches this before any spend is committed. The C-Suite, IT, OT, Operational Excellence and the relevant suppliers agree that sequence together, once. And a Quorum Coach then keeps everyone on track through delivery.
The contributors
Keynotes include Chris Dungey, CTO of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, who will present the Catapult’s technology strategy and AI adoption plan. He’s joined by Karen Betts OBE (Chief Executive, Food & Drink Federation), Steve Brambley (Chief Executive, GAMBICA) and James Fudge (Head of Operations, Manufacturing Technologies Association). There are also contributions from Henry Anson (Director, The Manufacturer), John Robinson (Creator, The Quorum Principle), and academics and thought leaders from across the industry.
Meet inControl on the day
Jan Hemper, Ian Clarke and Greg Kilbride will represent inControl throughout the day as OT Integration Partners (with our IT-OT integration skills to the fore). OT is one of the core functions around the Mission Charter table, so they’ll be talking about where operational technology integration facilitates data exchange to the Data Operations layer and wider business platforms such as MES & ERP.
If you’re attending and want to grab a coffee and a chat, they’d love to hear what you’re working on.
inControl looks forward to seeing you at this important and informative event.

“this new approach to industrial transformation, where silos are broken down within the end-user and technology providers agree to collaborate is bound to increase the success of any sizeable project. And as independent system integrators, collaboration is core to everything we do…”
