With a background that uniquely blends technical rigour with global adaptability, Aaron steps into his role as Solutions Architect, focused on the frontier of IIoT. His arrival strengthens our commitment to delivering forward-thinking, integrated systems that help give our clients a competitive edge in their industries.
Aaron’s journey into the world of technology began with a dual focus on IT and Engineering during his college years, eventually leading him to study Network Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. This foundation in how data moves and how systems communicate is vital in today’s landscape of Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0.
However, it is Aaron’s diverse life experience that truly sets him apart. Before joining inControl, Aaron spent five years living in South Korea. While there, he didn’t just teach English; he embraced the role of an adventurer—exploring mountain shrines, temples, and the rugged natural beauty of the Korean peninsula. This period honed a remarkable sense of persistence and a ‘try anything once’ mentality that he now brings to complex engineering challenges.
As Aaron puts it:
“I’m a naturally curious person. If I want something to work, I will exhaust every option to figure it out. What appealed to me about inControl was the opportunity to step into a forward-thinking environment that is leading the frontier with new IIoT solutions”

Outside of the office, you might find Aaron on the golf course—a recent passion—or diving into the world of competitive gaming. He remains a huge fan of Korean music and is always looking for his next new experience.
